Acid Slurry, also known as LABSA (Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid), is a dark brown to viscous liquid produced by sulfonation of linear alkyl benzene with sulfuric acid or oleum.
It is an anionic surfactant, meaning it helps reduce surface tension and enables effective cleaning and foaming.
It is one of the main raw materials used in detergents, cleaning agents, and personal care products.
Physical Properties:
  • Appearance: Brown or dark amber viscous liquid

  • Solubility: Completely soluble in water

  • pH (1% solution): 2 – 3
