Calcium Acetate Defoamer is a used as a hardening agent for mineral oil based Blasocut emulsions, acting as antifoam.

Efficient, long-term antifoam for use in Blasocut emulsions. The water hardness, together with Blasocut, forms fine calcium soap which effectively prevents foaming. Not to be used, since not effective, with vegetable oil based Vasco emulsions or synthetic Grindex solutions.

When fresh or used Blasocut emulsions show an increased foaming tendency, especially in soft water or if the permissible water hardness is not reached. Not to be used with vegetable oil based emulsions or synthetic solutions.
